Hi beautiful people,
My new years resolution for 2018 is to make more trips, go on vacation more, to explore the world, even if they’re just one day trips. So, last week I took a little break and travelled to Malaga. The weather was so good and I really enjoyed being there. If you have a couple of days of and living in Europe (because then it won’t take that much travel time), it’s really worth to take a little vacay to Andalusia.
I was only here for a couple of days but here are some of the outfits I wore in Malaga, with all details described 🙂

I like bright colors on my skin tone and blue is one of my favorites. The dress is of light fabric and it’s not lined, which makes it perfect for upcoming Spring weather.

Before I buy a small bag I try to find out what fits in it. When you buy a Chanel WOC, it makes the choice easier of course, because who doesn’t want this cutie mini bag which you can wear different ways and looks classy at the same time!
The bag has several compartments, one explicit for (6) cards and other ones which can fit your phone or your cash money.
I am used to put all my junk into my bag when i’m heading out, but when wearing my WOC I have to minimize. Most of them fit into my bag though!
- Chanel WOC Boybag
- iPhone 7
- Debit card and drivers license
- Change and coins
- Hair tie
- Mini pack tissues
- Chanel pocket mirror
- L’occitane hand cream
- Chanel no 5 sample
- Carkeys with L’aduree keychain
- MAC lipstick
- Pack of chewmints
- Rayban sunglasses
Hopefully this post will make it easier for you to decide to purchase (or not) your little Chanel!
Last weekend I went to see the Hubert de Givenchy exhibition in the community museum (Gemeentemuseum) in my hometown The Hague. This expo is a tribute to the lovely Audrey Hepburn.
I am more inspired by Audrey then I am by Givenchy, but I admire the impact he had on her. One of my favorite movies of all time is also one of hers – Breakfast at Tiffany’s it is. Which is also my favorite jeweler.
As i walked through the museum I was amazed by the garment that was displayed. All designed by Hubert de Givenchy and you could really see the luxury of it. Audrey once said that she is most comfortable in Givenchy’s clothing and I could imagine why. The dresses do not only look glamorous but also comfortable and I find that the most important when wearing an item. I could see myself wearing these dresses and going to parties in them. *sigh..then I woke up. Even though these dresses were made like 50-70 years ago, you could still wear them now in 2017. Speaking of timeless pieces. You can see that Givenchy has put up a lot of effort to make this exhibition look wonderful. I see real art in them and they take you back to time of Audrey.
Not only are Audrey’s Dutch roots something we have in common but she also did volunteering work for Unicef like I do. As a matter of fact, she was an ambassador for a couple of years. Even when she was older she still looked good and had this classical beauty while taking care of children.
I love the way Adurey dressed, spoke and the actress she was. I love her movies and I am inspired by her positive words. Here are some wise words from her.
Of course there were a lot more beautiful things to adore in this exhibition, but you have to experience it yourself. If you are visiting The Hague you must see this exhibition. You have the chance see the expo until the 26th of March 2017 at the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague. It is based in a lovely neighborhood which you will be inspired by too! And once you are in the museum, do not forget to take your photo-boot pictures!
When not wearing heels or dresses and skirts does not make you less feminine or fashionable and our comfortable and casual outfits do not need to be boring. It is all about the mix and match.
On a Saturday afternoon wandering and exploring through the cities wearing a comfy outfit and looking fashionable at the same time. Have a look at what is comfortable and fashionable for me. 🙂
Also, most of the time in the Netherlands the weather is chilly or just too cold for jacket-less-outfits. That’s why I need my sweater and scarf and a fashionable coat to make my outfit pop! Leather pants give an outfit a more edgy look and I can easily wear it with different materials. Adding a knitted sweater with my wool coat makes my outfit just how I like it; Comfortable, (diverse in materials) and fashionable. The basics in my outfit are one of my favorites. The sweater is warm and comfortable and the leather pants are feminine, sexy and fit perfect to my body.
A color-popping-coat is a must have in your wardrobe. Pick the color that fits your style and make your own comfy outfit with your basics and do not forget to wear your smile!

Talking about investments.. This piece is literally an investment!
I had to wait and look for it in different stores and countries for several months – actually years – to finally, finally, have it in my possession! A classy and timeless piece.. The Chanel Grand Shopping Tote! (Also known as the GST.)
This bag is made out of black Caviar leather with golden chains and zippers. Caviar leather, also known as grained calfskin leather will hold its shape after daily use and scratches or damages will not show up easily. Which also makes it usable to wear everyday and for many years.
The golden chain on the bag is the “Classic Chanel Chain Leather”. The golden color of the chain makes the bag more chique and warm.
And rumor has it that Chanel will not producing the GST anymore.. Also, every year Chanel is increasing their prices, so if you really want one of these babies you’d better be hurry up!
A timeless bag with timeless colors. Classy and Fabulous indeed!
Casual sneakers and a chic coat are the perfect match, if you’re asking me. In this cold Autumn weather I need a coat to keep me warm and comfortable shoes to wander around and explore the streets of Amsterdam.
In this wool and classy Ted Baker long wool wrap coat combined with my Chanel baskets sneakers I feel feminine and cool at the same time. Added with a touch of chocolate brown accessories, which makes my fashionable outfit casual chic.
I chose for a safe black color when it comes to my Ted coat and Chanel sneakers. I know I will not wear a bright color as much as black or neutrals. When buying investment pieces, I go for safe.
To make my outfit complete I took my Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM Monogram shopper out for the day with my matching brown Louis Vuitton Monogram scarf for the cold Fall weather. What I like the most about my bag is that Louis Vuitton is offering the service to initialize your bag, which obviously makes it more personal and unique and gives the casual outfit a touch of classiness.
These black suede and leather Chanel are my favorite sneakers. Of course, because they are Chanel and also because of the classic tweed material which are the same tweed as from the famous Chanel Black Jacket.
Definitely Casual & Chic!
Ready – steady – go? With the Hobo bag you can.
It is easy to carry around and easy to put all of your junk in.
My favorite Hobo is the Too hot too handle Hobo from the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection.
Not only can you wear this bag with a casual outfit, but it also matches perfectly with a formal outfit or an outfit with heels. I was looking for the perfect Hobo bag for a long time, but I never found the right one. They either were too big or too small, or faux leather. That is why I specific chose this Marc by Marc Jacobs Hobo because of its outstanding leather quality (100% cow leather) and its perfect size. The subtle golden emblem finishes its with elegance.
Classic and timeless is what this bag is. My first investment black bag and it was worth every penny. 🙂
Not only is Louboutin my favorite brand of shoes, but the Pigalle is also my favorite shoe at this moment, which I have in three beautiful colors! And this week Louboutin celebrates the 10th birthday of my fav shoe!
Christian Louboutin is my favorite shoe brand because there has never been a shoe before that has made my foot so-damn-beautiful. Whenever I wear my Loubies I feel like the most beautiful in the world. It makes me forget the pain in my foot! And of course, the red bottoms. The most beautiful part of the shoe.
In May 2013 in Paris I bought my first Pigalle, the nude one. Everytime I walk into a Louboutin store I feel like something magical is going to happen, you know like a little child in Disney World or something. The young guy who helped me in the store pulled out all the boxes to see if there were any Pigalles left. Unfortunately, they were all sold out. So, my dearest father who had driven me to Paris (from The Hague, the Netherlands) for me to buy my Louboutins, drove me to another store. When I asked the girl in the store is she had the Pigalle in nude she nodded and said; Yes, which size? The three words that made the happiest girl that day!
